TO WAKE THE LIVING

FIREKEEPER’s debut album, To Wake the Living, was self-produced and recorded at Fonogenic Studio in LA and on “the Pearl”, a houseboat on San Francisco’s Mission Creek.  The album was released on their independent label MAKEARTNOW in October 2013.

To Wake the Living’s ten tracks have a live analogue intensity while integrating electronic compositions developed through experimenting in their houseboat home studio.  The album was made possible with help from Rami Jaffee (Wallflowers, Foo Fighters) and engineer James McLaughlin in Fonogenic’s LA-based studio.
